Boming Yu, Professor, doctoral supervisor of Huangzhong University of Science and Technology. From October 1996 to December 1999, he was a visiting scholar researcher at the Ohio State University, USA. In 2000, 2005, 2006 and 2008, he was a collaborative researcher and academic visitor at the Department of Mechanics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Department of Physics, National University of Singapore, and the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei. His main research interests include "fractal geometry theory and transport physics of porous media".
Prof. Yu has published more than 170 SCI papers in international journals, with more than 9500 Google citations and h-index 51, and a monograph "Physics of Fractal Porous Media Transport" in Science Press. He has been listed in Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in China for seven consecutive years since 2014, and in 2020, he was listed in the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University. He has hosted and participated in several projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He is an expert in the review of the National 863 Project, the National High-Level Talents Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) surface projects, key projects and major projects.
