He is also the adjunct professor of Tsinghua University, director of Towing Tank, DUT, director of Liaoning Province Technical Lab for Deepwater Floating Structural Engineering, vice director of Ship Mechanics Academic Committee and Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, vice chairman of Liaoning Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, eastern-asia specialist of ITTC VIV Committee (25th), specialist member of ITTC Environmental Modeling Committee (26th), editorial board member of      Journal of Hydrodynamics, Ship Mechanics, Journal of Marine Science and Application, Ships and Offshore Structures, Chinese Journal of Ship Research, Acta of Chinese Ocean University, Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistical Applications.
